Installation of ACCO Drainage Channel Outside A Basement Flat Front Door Area Case Study

Client reported flooding during heavy rain causing concerns of water ingress into the property during prolonged periods of bad weather, the photo was supplied and marked to show area of concern.

Engineers sourced the materials and carried out the installation works within 3 days of the complaint; the work was tested and confirmed the issue was resolved.

Engineers attended site and mechanically cut the area to ensure correct size excavation for Acco Drain, excavated the area and installed channel on concrete base making outlet connection to existing drainage pipe work. Re-instated and finished with concrete to match existing levels ensuring correct fall for rainwater run off as designed.
